What software is required?
The core PSD template catalog on PSDmarket.net — both free and premium — is delivered in Photoshop PSD format. Print Designs are a separate product family and can be delivered as AI, PNG, JPG or PSD depending on the product; the exact source format is shown on each Print Design page.
To edit PSD templates, you’ll need Adobe Photoshop.
We recommend using the latest Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) version for full compatibility and best performance.
For Print Designs, use software compatible with the exact delivered format: AI files require a compatible vector editor such as Adobe Illustrator, PSD files use Photoshop, while PNG and JPG files are raster artwork.
You may be able to open PSD files with other software such as Photopea or GIMP, but please note that we only provide technical support for Adobe Photoshop workflows. For Print Designs, always check the product page for the delivered file format, vector status, layers and text editability before production.
What Photoshop version do I need?
Most templates are compatible with Adobe Photoshop CS4 and newer, but for the best experience, we recommend Adobe Photoshop CC (latest version).
This ensures proper layer rendering, font alignment, and color accuracy.
Which fonts are used?
Our templates use a variety of high-quality free and premium fonts.
If you don’t have the required fonts installed, Photoshop will prompt you to download them when opening the file.
Each template includes a “Documentation” or “Read Me” file that lists all required fonts along with download links.
If you can’t find a font or need help installing it, please contact our support team — we’ll gladly assist you.
If you have an active Adobe Fonts (Typekit) account, many fonts will be installed automatically when opening the template.
What hardware do I need?
We design our PSD templates to be lightweight and easy to customize on most modern computers.
If you have a modern laptop or desktop with at least 8 GB of RAM, you’ll be able to edit our templates comfortably.
However, please note that mobile devices such as iPads, tablets, or phones are not suitable for editing PSD files.
