Description
Afro Afterglow is an expressive Afrobeats and Amapiano party flyer featuring a sculptural orange headwrap, round golden sunglasses, oversized sunset SOUL lettering and a fine serif-and-script headline. A dark cocoa geometric background and olive accents create a warm music-night look for club promotions, lounge events and rooftop sessions.
All copy is in English. SUNDOWN, DJ SOLA, NIA K, the venue and event details are fictional editable sample content, not an actual event announcement. The portrait is an original generated raster image.
Template details
- 2700 × 3900 pixels at exact 300 ppi; 9 × 13 inches; RGB 8-bit with an embedded sRGB profile.
- 10 genuine native Type layers: 7 direct layers and 3 inside embedded headline PSD Smart Objects.
- 9 native editable Shapes: 8 in the master and 1 sunset-gradient shape inside the SOUL source.
- 4 embedded Smart Objects: the portrait and 3 live-Type headline sources; 8 organized top-level groups.
- The ZIP includes the editable PSD, three editable headline source PSDs, clean full-resolution JPEG, protected preview, original portrait assets, fonts and licenses, editing instructions, technical QA report and file checksums.
How to edit
Install the four included Afterglow fonts before opening the PSD. Supporting copy is direct native Type. Open the SOUL, AFRO or Afterglow Smart Object, edit its live Type and save to refresh the master. SOUL uses an editable gradient Shape clipped to the text. Headline scaling is applied to the outer Smart Object, not the source Type, for stable save-and-reopen behavior.
The separate source PSDs are convenience copies, not live external links. If editing a separate source, replace the matching Smart Object contents in the master. Different word lengths may require repositioning. Background motifs and decorative paths are native editable vector Shapes; the portrait remains photographic raster content with transparency, not vector artwork or separately editable clothing, skin and jewelry.
Afterglow Block, Serif, Script and Sans are renamed derivatives of Anton Regular, a Bodoni Moda static instance, The Nautigal Regular and Barlow Condensed Medium. The package includes original font binaries, SIL OFL 1.1 licenses and modification notes. Unique family and style metadata stabilizes font selection; chosen glyph outlines and metrics are unchanged. The editable master and clean JPEG have no preview watermark.
Source resolution and print preparation
The generated portrait source is 1024 × 1536 pixels and is placed at 2100 × 3150 pixels, approximately 146 effective source ppi in the 300 ppi document. It is not a native 4K photograph. Type and vector graphics remain independently scalable.
No additional bleed allowance is supplied. Confirm trim, bleed and CMYK conversion with your printer while preserving the RGB master. This is a digital download; no physical product is shipped.
Technical validation and compatibility
Authored and tested in Patchy 1.15. All 10 Type layers, 9 Shapes and 4 Smart Object placements passed actual edit, save, reopen and restore checks. Restored text retained its font family, style, weight, size and ink bounds, with zero ink-bound drift. The restored full master differs by at most one channel level out of 255.
An independent full layer-stack render was visually checked at full layout and in 400% crops. It is not pixel-identical: vector-edge antialiasing and gradient interpolation differ between rendering engines. Measurements and limitations are documented in the QA report.
Use a PSD editor supporting live Type, native Shapes, clipping and embedded PSD Smart Objects. Adobe Photoshop desktop GUI testing was not performed, and identical rendering across all applications is not guaranteed. The clean JPEG serves as the appearance reference.
