Description
Royal Gambit Chess Tournament Flyer PSD Template
Give your chess event a dramatic entrance with Royal Gambit. A faceted crystal knight stands on a black marble pedestal in front of a large arched smoked-glass panel. Cream and champagne lettering sits within the glass composition, while a walnut rook, ebony bishop and wooden pawn add depth around the frame. Burgundy velvet, a reflective chessboard floor and a beam of light complete the dark, refined setting.
The portrait layout places the event name at the heart of the scene. A smaller tournament label appears above the title, with date and time below. Separate promoter, venue, address and registration lines provide space for your event details.
What is included
- One layered Photoshop PSD master.
- One clean, full-size JPEG without the preview watermarks.
- README with editing steps, font links and compatibility notes.
- Cormorant Garamond Bold and Oswald Regular font files with their SIL Open Font Licenses.
Document specifications
- 2700 × 3900 pixels, portrait orientation.
- 300 ppi, 8-bit RGB with an embedded sRGB profile.
- Six named groups and ten native editable Type layers.
- Twelve embedded PNG Smart Objects for the separate artwork, lighting and shadow components.
- Two title layers with native gradient-overlay and inner-bevel effects.
The artwork is raster-based. Background, glass panel, crystal knight, rook, bishop and pawn are separate embedded elements. The title remains behind the foreground knight, preserving the intended overlap. No external image links, PDF or SVG dependencies are required.
Customize your event details
Adapt the design for a chess tournament, club competition, exhibition match or formal chess evening. Replace the sample promoter, Royal Gambit title, event category, date, time, venue, address and registration website. All displayed event information is fictional placeholder copy.
ROYAL and GAMBIT are separate Type layers with deliberate proportions. Keep replacement wording a similar length, or adjust the text transform and spacing to fit the panel. Install the required fonts before editing, save a working copy and check every line after making changes.
Fonts and compatibility
Two title fonts are included. Nimbus Sans Regular and Bold are also required; these are not bundled. The README provides links to the exact OTF files in the official Artifex repository. Review the accompanying font terms and install all four fonts to avoid substitutions.
The PSD structure, text data, embedded artwork and saved composite have been checked. An Adobe Photoshop open/edit/save test has not been performed. Exact native-effect appearance after Photoshop recalculates edited text remains unverified, and third-party editors may render gradients and bevels differently. The included clean JPEG provides an appearance reference.
Output and delivery
The full canvas corresponds to 9 × 13 inches at 300 ppi. Confirm trim size, bleed, safe margins and the required color profile with your print provider before production. For screen use, export an appropriate image size and check small-text readability.
This is a digital template; no printed item is supplied. The listing image carries two horizontal PSDmarket preview-watermark bands. The buyer PSD and JPEG are clean. Review the file requirements and license and usage terms before ordering.
