Layered Photoshop construction

The 2700 × 3900 pixel PSD contains 93 separate leaf layers in named groups, including 28 genuine native Photoshop Type layers and 23 independent grayscale masks. Three fictional performer portraits, the coupe and the eyes are separate image layers with editable silhouette or torn-strip masks. Eighteen title and slogan letters have separate ink-wear masks.

Paper stock, fibers, tear edges, paste-up shadows, tape, marker gestures, editorial rules, print stipple, scratches and footer details are separately layered. These graphic elements are document-resolution raster artwork. Photographic lighting, fine grain and tonal treatment are baked into the generated source pixels. The file does not contain Smart Objects, live filters or vector paper shapes.

Editing the lettering

Install all six included fonts before editing. WILD STATIC is built from ten individual letter layers and TURN IT UP from eight, giving each character its own font treatment, position, angle and wear mask. Edit event details with the Type tool. Longer replacement copy may require resizing or repositioning its paper tile and mask; the masks can also be disabled. The fonts include ordinary uppercase and lowercase alphabets and numerals, rather than only the sample letters.

Resolution and print preparation

The RGB/sRGB document is set to 300 ppi and measures 9 × 13 inches. The three original portraits are 1024 × 1536 pixels. The lead vocalist is placed at 1170 × 1755 pixels, a 1.143× enlargement; the other portraits are placed at 1010 × 1515 and 960 × 1440 pixels. The coupe source is 1536 × 1024 pixels and is placed at 1440 × 960 pixels before rotation. The eye strip uses a narrow crop from a 1536 × 1024 pixel source. All original source images are included unchanged.

Enlarging raster images does not add original detail. This is an RGB master, not a printer-specific CMYK proof. Confirm trim, bleed and color requirements with your printer and inspect the file at its intended output size before production.

Verification and compatibility notes

Programmatic checks verified document dimensions, 300 ppi, embedded sRGB, native Type, supplied fonts and grayscale masks. The PSD merged image matches the design master exactly, and the visible layers were independently recomposited for review. ZIP integrity and download-back checks were completed. An Adobe Photoshop GUI open/edit/save round-trip was not performed. Photoshop may render Type differently after editing, so inspect changed text and mask alignment with the supplied fonts installed.
